"Parents Recommended"
At The Traveling Dentists we understand that working parents (probably already swamped by extra-math tutoring, ballet lessons, and soccer club) may find it difficult to get their children to appointments. We want to give you one less appointment to worry about and a little more free time for the fun stuff like netball games and choir concerts! We travel to schools and take care of your little ones' dental needs without any inconvenience to you.

We collaborate with schools in Johannesburg to bring oral hygiene education and preventative care to school children! How does it work?

Upon arrival, we put on a fun skit about keeping their mouths clean.
Each child then has a tool-free friendly consultation and oral examination.
Children who require further care will then be provided with a written report to take home to their parents.
Parents with kids who need further treatment can contact us to arrange a follow up appointment while provide permission to proceed with basic and preventative care including cleanings, x-rays, fissure sealants and minimally invasive fillings for baby teeth (no injection).
The dentist comes back to school to provide the necessary services or alternatively we can come to your home.

At The Traveling Dentists, we are passionate about your little ones and you may find comfort in knowing that they are in good hands. We believe in instilling good oral hygiene habits in children from a very young age to avoid more expensive and specialized care as they grow older. This is why we spend time on creative means to make oral hygiene education fun.

On our first interaction with your child, we slowly introduce him/her to all of the odd bits and bobs used in dental care.

Parents are welcome to join for the first appointment.
